Handmade in London at Algha Works, these rolled-gold frames with a shiny white gold finish are a real piece of history.

Since production started in London in 1932 many famous faces have worn Savile Row Round Frames such as John Lennon and Eric Clapton.

While Alga Works spent much of the 1940s and 1950s making the famous 'round eye' NHS glasses. Today all orders are bespoke, handmade to order in the same factory using virtually the same production process.

These are gold filled frames, (the thickness is up to 6 times that of gold plating)

Our factory, Algha Works, still uses machinery dating back to its origins in 1898. Our frame makers are passionate about creating unique pieces that never go out of style. Hundreds of processes, days of work and years of experience are evident in each tailor-made frame. Like its namesake, Savile Row's hand-crafted frames must be felt to be experienced.
