Handmade in London at Algha Works, these rolled-gold frames with a shiny gold finish are a real piece of history.

Since production started in London in 1932 many famous faces have worn Savile Row Round Frames such as John Lennon and Eric Clapton.

While Alga Works spent much of the 1940s and 1950s making the famous 'round eye' NHS glasses. Today all orders are bespoke, handmade to order in the same factory using virtually the same production process.

These are gold filled frames, (the thickness is up to 6 times that of gold plating)
